Testimonial: Thank you for that!
I just had a complete left knee replacement, I chose to go to Altoona Nursing & Rehab for my therapy after my operation.
I have heard horror stories about some nursing homes – the lack of attention to residents, poor food quality and staff that is NON-personal with the residents and also bad quality of therapy. Having said this, I am so happy to say that was NOT my experience at Altoo9na Nursing Home. The staff, from the office people, nurses, CNAs, therapists, kitchen staff, cleaning staff, all the people involved with my stay combined to make it a GREAT experience. Thank you all for that.
The office staff kept everything organized in a sea of paperwork. Thank you for that. The nurses were very good and knowledgeable about the medications I was taking and shared the knowledge with me so I wasn’t in the dark about that. Thank you for that. The CNAs were all so helpful and patient; they know everybody’s name and treat you like a family member – nut just a number. The therapists are so dedicated and without them I wouldn’t be as far along as I am. My doctor was so pleased with my progress. Thank you for that. The kitchen staff was so friendly, and the food was great; good variety. Thank you for that. The cleaning staff was so good at their jobs; the place was always clean and fresh. Thank you for that.
Before this situation I wondered how it was going to be, but thanks to Altoona Nursing and Rehab Center and the beautiful staff, my experience was a JOYFUL experience for me and I THANK YOU ALL FOR THAT!
Sincerely, Judi
